This isn't really in any sort of order. It's just twenty-five albums I'm looking forward to hearing. What am I missing on this list?
25. She & Him - Volume Two (May tba)
Zooey and M first volume was a stunning success and this follow-up should cover extremely similar ground.
24. Grinderman - TBA (date tba)
Nick Cave's superstar side-project returns!
23. Surfer Blood - Astro Coast (January 19)
After building lots of CMJ buzz, the band is set to drop their debut LP on Kanine Records.
22. Dum Dum Girls - Jail La La (date tba)
The hotly tipped outfit was famously signed to Sub Pop after their first show in Brooklyn. The buzz has been building - as has a backlash already - but the debut will speak for itself.
21. The Shins TBA (date tba)
You know, The Shins haven't really delivered a bad LP yet, which is kind of surprising. Let's see if this continues their streak. Also, look out for James Mercer's side-project with Danger Mouse.
20. Liars - Sisterworld (March 8)
The art rockers have been able to make some of the most accessible noise albums. What this one will sound like is anyones guess.
19. Interpol - TBA (date tba)
After LP3 broke them into the mainstream, but got panned by older fans, the New York band returns with supposedly heavier and harder album.
18. Joanna Newsom (date tba)
No idea what to expect, but I can't wait!
17. Social Distortion - TBA (fall tba)
The Cali punks haven't released a new album in quite awhile. If you know and love the band, you know what to expect.
16. Ted Leo & The Pharmacists - The Brutalist Brick (March 9)
His matador records debut.
15. Shearwater - The Golden Archipelago (February 26)
14. MGMT - Congratulations (April TBA)
Will they strike sophomore gold?
13. Massive Attack - Heligoland (February 8)
The electro heavyweights return after scrapping various other versions of this album. Will the end result be worth the wait?
12. LCD Soundsystem - TBA (March TBA)
How do you follow-up one of the best albums of the decade?
11. Supergrass - Release the Drones (June TBA)
New Supergrass! Nuff said.
10. Devo - Fresh (date tba)
Devo will release their first studio album since 1990.
9. Magnetic Fields - Realism (January 26)
I was actually disappointed by 2008's Distortion and the similar cover designs gave me pause about including it on this list, but I do always look forward to hearing a new Magnetic Fields record. Hopefully Realism will be a return to form.
8. Vampire Weekend - Contra (January 12)
Another big sophomore release. The lead off singles (Hocheta, Cousins) are tops and the other new tunes they've been roadtesting have gotten great responses. An early contender for album of the year?!
7. Spoon - Transference (January 26)
New Spoon! Nuff said.
6. Hole - Nobody's Daughter (January 1)
Courtney Love's much delayed solo debut is now a Hole release. Will that change the fact that this may be this year's Chinese Democracy?
5. Beach House - Teen Dream (January 26)
I loved their last album and am really hoping that Teen Dream blows me away.
4. Los Campesinos - Romance is Boring (February 2)
The Campers return with a more expansive and accessible record.
3. Gorillaz - Plastic Beach (date tba)
The new Gorillaz is supposed a pop response to the success of the X-Factor show. So far, Damon has been spot on with Gorillaz and I hope he can top the excellent Demon Days.
2. Hot Chip - One Life Stand (February 8)
I hope this record makes me dance my arse off.
1. Arcade Fire - TBA (date Tba)
If it really is coming out this year, then their is no more anticipated album of the year. Expectations are very high. The band is currently in the studio with Markus Dravs, who also produced the brilliant Neon Bible.

This domain seems to recieve a large ammount of visitors. How do you promote it? It offers a nice unique twist on things. I guess having something authentic or substantial to talk about is the most important factor.
