Yes, you read that correctly. David Byrne will be performing a FREE show at Brooklyn's Prospect Park Bandshell on June 8th. The show is actually part of the Celebrate Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival Opening Night Green Gala & Concert, where tickets run from $325 to $10,000, which gets you a reserved seat, invitation to the gala reception and some other perks. If you can't afford to donate to Celebrate Brooklyn!, you can still watch the show from the lawn for free.
Other shows at the Prospect Park Bandshell include MGMT on July 1st (ticketed event, sold out), Jackson Browne on July 21st (on sale), Animal Collective on August 14th (on sale)
