This can't be a good sign for the economy.
Starbucks Corp said on Tuesday it plans to close 600 underperforming U.S. stores and cut up to 12,000 full- and part-time positions, as it copes with an economic downturn and increasing competition.
I blame Thurston Moore.....

So now instead of being able to stand in front of a Starbucks in NYC and see 3 other Starbucks, you will only be able to see 2 other Starbucks.
