Urb and Headphone Sex are reporting that Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalater (silver) posted a new solo track he did on one of Daft Punk's numerous websites. The track is linked below.
On a related note, the mysterious Daft Punk cover crew Faux Punk is returning to NYC on March 7th. They're headlining a pretty awesome show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg with support from Low B, Afrobots, Roxy Cottontail and Villians. Tickets are $12 and now on sale.
Now I'm not starting any rumors, but a little birdie tipped me off to the fact that Justice will be in NYC on March 7th and they have no announced tour date that evening. When Faux Punk played that sold out Daft Punk ALIVE 2007 album release party, it was rumored that Justice were Faux Punk, becuase they were in NYC at the time. I really, really, really doubt that's true, but it would be pretty killer if it were true..........
