The Slits reunion in 2006 was great news but provided few highlights. It was great to see Ari Up at her best again, but it wasn't as granda s I hoped their reunion would be. On the other hand, their opening set last summer for Sonic Youth was superb.
They start another proper US tour in March, that includes a date at the Mercury Lounge and Maxwells. They'll also play a bunch of SXSW shows.
And finally, on February 4th, they're playing an invite-only "Chloe Sevigny launch party" at Webster Hall..........
