I so wish he'd run for President.....
Former Vice President Al Gore and the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change jointly won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Friday for their efforts to spread awareness of man-made climate change and to lay the foundations for fighting it.

Why would he run for President when he's making so much more money off this global warming thing...

I voted for him in 2000, but he was my second choice after Bill Bradley. He ran a very poor campaign in 2000, and I'm confused why so many people think he would be a better candidate than either Hillary or Obama.

Whatever legitimacy this prize left is dissolved. I'm sure even some of you had to laugh and "G" is completely correct. The obsession with the global warming problem is now at the point of lunacy and has no rationality to it at all anymore. It's all emotion rather than taking a deliberate focused practical approach to exploring the problem. If I still had any respect for the noble committees, I would be violently ill right now.

Global warming is an issue that hurdled past rational discourse and became an industry in near record time.
Once you have a critical mass of scientists, media, fundraisers and politicians who have a massive stake in validating an issue any way they can so their own careers can be furthered, it becomes almost impossible to get back to the ability to have rational discourse to really figure out how much of an issue it is and what needs to be done about it.
I think we're well past that critical mass and hysteria is just around the corner.

Al Gore is such a moron and a douche. he's a major coward. Osama would have wiped the floor with him.

It’s hard to imagine, how people have guts to write comments like that. I would never write anything like this, because I would have thought what other would think of me after that. I know that it doesn’t matter who you are in Internet, you can act however you want, but anyway I would remember that a man should act nice and polite, no matter if he is online or offline

Blah-blah-blah. I don’t care about you opinion, your words mean nothing to me. I’m big, bad and always just.
