PUNKCAST.COM | 10-Year Anniversary Party & Screening

punkcast10years_R2.jpgPunkcast.com is turning 10 years old. Joly MacFie is 56 and has probably been to more shows than you, me and everybody else reading at this moment combined – and he is still out there. You may have seen or stood behind the ripe old British guy with a thick natty ponytail and grimy shirt, peering through the lens of his video camera at a show.

He has uploaded 1190 episodes of video and probably has an archive much larger than that. I don't think there is anybody but Joly who has watched all 1190 episodes. A highlight reel spanning the past ten years of New York music is an easier pill to swallow.

He is having a party and screening this Friday at Secret Robot Project. Whatever he shows, will be ten years of New York music history in the making.

That would be 1200 shoots, but only something like a third are posted up. About a third are screwed up, usually naff audio, and the other third it's tragic I didn't find the time to do up because they thoroughly deserve it.

It’s hard to imagine, how people have guts to write comments like that. I would never write anything like this, because I would have thought what other would think of me after that. I know that it doesn’t matter who you are in Internet, you can act however you want, but anyway I would remember that a man should act nice and polite, no matter if he is online or offline

This website is for people who have nothing to do, for those who spend all time fooling around in internet
