Björk kicked off her Volta tour at New York City's Radio City Music Hall. She performed a setlist that really captured the scope of her career. The old songs were completely redone though, but sounded wonderful. The tracks from Medulla, by far her weakest album, completely failed to connect with the audience (lots o' sitting down).

The set was all glow-in-the-dark. Lots of video screens, hanging banners with fishes, laser lights and pyrotechnics. She wore gold-leggings and a red gown at the beginning.
